Reducing the use of natural resources with recyclable alternative resources, replacing the use of fossil fuels with waste-derived fuels, reducing the energy consumed during production, introducing innovative products to the market with more efficient and alternative process methods are the main targets of our roadmap prepared to reduce carbon emissions in the coming years.
Cementir Group has set ambitious targets to reduce CO2 emissions that have been independently verified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and judged to be consistent with the goal of keeping warming ‘well below 2˚C’. The Group has defined a 10-year Roadmap committing 86 million euros to sustainability projects in the 2023-2025 Industrial Plan. Cementir is rated A- by CDP and holds sustainability ratings with all major agencies worldwide.
